Thank you Chris Tacker for informing our community of George Rossman's death. I am greatly saddened to hear this. I was one of the many folks with whom George cooperated in supplying mineral samples for research. I am so grateful for this. I greatly appreciate not only George's generosity in this regard, but also his curiosity and brilliance as a scientist. George was an absolutely unique person; his kind come along rarely.
