I would like to draw your attention to the following symposium to be held on March 8–11, 2016 in Kurayoshi, Tottori, Japan.

Organized by the Institute for Study of the Earth’s Interior (ISEI), Okayama University, Misasa, Japan

ABOUT THE SYMPOSIUM
The scientific scope of the symposium will encompass a broad spectrum of research from mineral physics and geophysics to comprehensive geochemistry and geochronology, with a common goal of understanding the origin, evolution and dynamics of the Earth and planets. It is hoped that the symposium will bring together leading scientists as well as young researchers and students from Japan and worldwide to present frontier research results and future perspectives in Earth and planetary materials science and related fields.

ISEI is a world-class research institution in the field of Earth and planetary materials science, with a diverse range of forefront analytical and experimental facilities and expertise. As a Joint Use/Research Center (formerly national joint-use facility), it has served the national/international community of Earth and planetary materials science and related fields over the past 30 years, by hosting a large number of collaborative researchers from Japan and abroad.
