American Mineralogist New Editors

Starting in 2019, the editorship of American Mineralogist be shared between Don Baker (McGill) and Hongwu Xu (LANL). Hongwu Xu is a mineralogist with expertise in crystallography and thermodynamics, and Don Baker is a high-temperature geochemist/experimental petrologist. Each of them will be the editor for contributions in their respective fields. The transition from the current editor, Keith Putirka, to the new editors will occur during the 2019 calendar year. MSA thanks outgoing editor Keith Putirka for his creative leadership that has kept American Mineralogist one of the premier geoscience journals.
