We're looking for contributions using petrochronology, diffusion chronometry, and geochemistry to constrain magma fluxes, storage, mush dynamics, and eruptibility across volcanic systems - work that uses crystals, melt inclusions, and related archives to reconstruct what's happening inside active magma reservoirs. Recent analytical and methodological advances have opened up a much sharper view of the timescales and processes at play in magma storage, and this session aims to showcase where that progress is heading. We welcome contributions on plumbing architecture, physicochemical evolution, and mineral-scale approaches to understanding volcanic eruptions. Abstracts are due August 6th via the GSA Connects portal <https://connects.geosociety.org/program/technical-sessions/abstracts>. We'd especially like to encourage submissions from students and early-career researchers alongside established investigators - our goal is a full, wide-ranging session.
