Hello PIGs, (1) The theme of the 2024 Tucson Gem and Mineral Show will be “Pegmatites - Crystals Big and Beautiful!”, February 8–11, 2024 (2) The Friends of Mineralogy will hold a pegmatite-themed symposium in conjuction with the Tucson show. Date and location to be announced. (3) The PIG website contains a new entry for Hog Holler, a list of citations to pegmatites and their minerals from 2022.
