Dear colleagues,
apologies if you receive this announcement more than once.

We invite you and your students to submit an abstract to our session "T23.
Undergraduate and Graduate Geoscience Student Showcase
" (description
provided below) at the upcoming North-Central Section GSA meeting in Grand
Rapids, Michigan (May 4-5th, 2023).
This is an excellent opportunity for
our students to showcase their research and to gain experience presenting
their work in multiple formats.

T23. Undergraduate and Graduate Geoscience Student Showcase: This session
will highlight research from students in a hybrid oral-poster format.
Although presenters will submit only one abstract for this session, they
will prepare two presentations
(i.e., a three-minute lightning talk in the
morning session; a poster for the afternoon session). This will offer
student presenters with multiple opportunities to practice a variety of
science communication techniques.
