9th CrysAC Workhop on “Bio-Apatite, humans, archaeology and environment”

Dear Colleagues,

We would like to draw your attention to the 9th CrysAC Workhop on “Bio-Apatite, humans, archaeology and environment”, organized within the activities of the Commission on Crystallography in Art and Cultural Heritage, which will take place on September 17, 2024 at the Department of Geosciences of the University of Padova in Padova, Italy (see attached program and weblink below).

It will be followed the next day by a short workshop on “Carbonates, humans, archaeology and environment”. This workshop invites scientists from research institutions, museums, and conservation bodies, to look at apatite from various points of view from mineralogy, structure, anthropology, archaeometry, or possible nano-technology.

There is no registration fee.

However, the organizers would ask that the registration form on the website be completed if you plan to attend.
