SLAC National Laboratory in Menlo Park, CA is seeking a post-doctoral researcher to work on a 2-year Department of Energy funded project focused on re-stimulating aging unconventional oil/gas wells for the extraction of critical materials. Candidates need a strong geochemistry background. Synchrotron experience is preferred but not required, but willingness to be trained and use certain synchrotron-based techniques for the project is required. The researcher will work with others within SLAC at Stanford University, industrial partners, and other national laboratory partners.
