Dear colleagues,
GSA's Mineralogy, Geochemistry, Petrology, and Volcanology (MGPV) Division
is seeking one graduate student to serve a three-year term as a student
representative on the MGPV's management board! The application form can be

The MGPV student representatives play an active and collaborative role on
the management board and help lead a variety of student-focused efforts.
These include organizing student-led webinars and events, managing and
maintaining the MGPV graduate and postdoctoral positions list, facilitating
communication between students and the Division leadership, and
contributing to programming and activities at the annual GSA meeting.
Applicants are encouraged to reflect on which of these activities excite
them and to propose new ideas they would like to explore.

Requirements
- Graduate student willing to serve a three-year term. First year
M.S. students willing to adhere to the three year commitment are encouraged
to apply.
- Applicants must be student members of GSA and MGPV. MGPV must also be
the applicant's principal division. Having more than one principal division
is OK.
- The start date for this position is September 1, 2026.
