at Rice University is seeking applications for a tenure-track
assistant professor position in Planetary Science. More

We are seeking applications from candidates who work in Planetary
Science broadly defined, with particular interests in planetary
geochemistry, cosmochemistry, astromaterials and astrobiology, as well
as comparative planetology, planet-scale modeling, and planetary
habitability of the solar system and beyond. Applicants using
analytical, remote sensing, sample-based, and modeling approaches are
welcome.
Successful candidates are expected to establish a vigorous, externally
funded research program, teach core courses and develop undergraduate
and graduate courses within their area of expertise, and be involved in
service to the department, university, and the broader scientific
community.
We particularly welcome applications from individuals with a
demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
REQUIREMENTS
All candidates must have earned a Ph.D. degree in Earth, Environmental,
or Planetary Science or a related field by the time of the appointment.
