Dear Colleagues,
The AIPEA Early Career Clay Scientists (ECCS) Committee is looking to renew three of its members.
If you are interested, please send your CV (1 page) and a short statement of interest to liva.dzene@uha.fr by 5 February 2025.
The candidates must hold a PhD and not have more than 5 years of experience after completion of this PhD when applying. The term on the Committee is 4 years (2025-2029).
The committee was established in 2021. Its purpose is to support scientists that are within 5 years after completion of their PhD: Early Career Clay Scientists. AIPEA provides a platform for ECCS to connect them to regional, national or international clay groups, encouraging them to contribute to – and benefit from – the AIPEA network of clay societies. The committee organizes bi-monthly webinars and activities during international clay conferences, manages Research and Travel grant applications.
Please share the information with your colleagues and in your national clay groups.
If you know a colleague who might be a good candidate, we would be grateful if you would let them know about this opportunity and invite to apply.
Best regards,
Liva, Eiskue, Guangzheng, Javier and Mohamed
