Dear All:

The Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences (EPS) at Yale University
invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the assistant
professor level in the broadly defined area of lithosphere and surface
processes. A start date of July 2025 or later is expected for this
position.

Some of the most important questions in Earth science revolve around
system-wide interactions spanning the Earth’s surface through its crust,
linking the geosphere with cryosphere, hydrosphere, and atmosphere, as well
as their historical evolution.  The scope of the search includes (but is
not limited to) structural geology and tectonics, volcanology, mineralogy,
petrology, sedimentology and stratigraphy, geomorphology, glaciology,
crustal deformation/geodesy, and Earth history; employing field,
laboratory, and/or modeling methods.

Full details can be found here - https://apply.interfolio.com/153322
Best wishes,
The search committee.
