T1. Geology, Genesis, and Exploitation of Strategic Mineral Deposits

Dear Colleagues,

We invite you submit an abstract to the session T1. Geology, Genesis, and Exploitation of Strategic Mineral Deposits at the GSA 2022 South-Central regional meeting. This session highlights the origins, exploration, exploitation, and remediation of strategic mineral and metal deposits, both within the region and globally. Submissions from early-career scientists and graduate and undergraduate students are especially encouraged.

The meeting, themed “Geology Has No Borders”, will be held in McAllen, Texas, through March 14-15 at the McAllen Convention Center. There is also an option to attend and present online.
