Dear Colleagues

If your work involves mantle plumes and their effects, on Earth or elsewhere,
please consider submitting an abstract to the GSA National Meeting, Oct 19-22 in
San Antonio Texas. Your abstract could be part of the special session T-169

Mantle Plumes on Terrestrial Planets (Including Earth)

chaired by Dr. Justin Filiberto and me. All the terrestrial planets have (or appear to
have had) mantle plumes and associated igneous and tectonic activity – this
session aims to share insights across the solar system. The session will start with
invited talks by Drs. Thorsten Becker and Scott King; contributed talks (including
yours) would follow.

Abstracts are due by August 5, 2025.

See you in San Antonio!
