Dear MSA Community,
I am so pleased to announce that there will be 17 new episodes of Every
Rock Has A Story posting weekly on my YouTube Channel
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCl0Zrg9JFh5o4SPg94veh0w this Fall, from
Sept 1st through Christmas. As before, the episodes are especially
designed for children ages 5-12 (grades K-5), but they are fun and
appropriate for all ages. We will also be posting new
educational resources prepared by Prof. Kate McNeill
https://www.bc.edu/bc-web/schools/lynch-school/faculty-research/faculty-directory/katherine-mcneill.html
from
Boston College's Lynch School of Education.
A key element of these new episodes will be a diverse slate of co-hosts,
including students, postdocs, professors, and kids! You might just see
someone you recognize. We want all kids to see themselves as geoscientists!
Here is a brand new trailer https://youtu.be/KQfNQAVt-10 that just came
out today... check it out and please share it with any kids, parents,
teachers, or anyone who might be interested in these diverse stories about
the earth, the environment, and even our solar system.

I am so happy to share our MSA community's love of rocks, minerals, and the
stories they tell with our future scientists. I hope you enjoy the new
episodes, and I hope you will share them too!
Best Regards,
Ethan
