Dear Julien Marius Allaz,
We are pleased to announce the deadline for the Bastin PhD Thesis Award, sponsored by Thermo Fisher Scientific. Completed applications must reach the EMAS Secretary by Tuesday June 30th, 2026 (23:59, CEST). Full details of the award and the process are available on the EMAS website at:

The winning applicant will receive three years complimentary EMAS regular membership and a € 2,500 cash prize. Moreover, the Bastin Fund will cover all reasonable travel and hotel costs, and workshop registration of the award winner, up to an amount of about € 1,000, for attending the next EMAS European Workshop where he/she should give a presentation in the Early Career Scientists’ Session.
