Dear Members,

At the Business Meeting the following awards for 2021 have been announced
by the President of the Meteoritical Society:

2021 Leonard Medal: Katharina Lodders (Washington University, St. Louis,
USA)
2021 Barringer Award: Gordon Osinski (Western University, Canada)
2021 Nier Prize: Nan Liu (Washington University, St. Louis, USA)
2021 Service Award: Christian Koeberl (University of Vienna, Austria)
2021 Jessberger Award: Maria Schönbächler (ETH, Zürich, Switzerland)

The Jessberger Award is a new award and the first award will be presented
to Prof. Schönbächler at the Chicago meeting in 2021.
