We have a family trip to Madagascar coming up next summer. I think I can trick the grandkid into letting me have a day or two for geology. Does anyone have recommendations. In particular, I am thinking about visiting some classic pegmatites. I inherited a lot of great Madagascar museum specimens when I joined my department, but none have much in the way of provenance. So, where are the best and accessible pegmatites?
