Dear Colleagues,

We will be presenting a virtual Short Course, based on RiMG Volume 88, Diamonds: Genesis, Mineralogy and Geochemistry. The complete volume is available as open access at the following link:

https://pubs.geoscienceworld.org/rimg/issue/88/1

The goal of the Short Course is to present all the chief current knowledge about diamonds in two, one-day sessions. The hope is that exploration geologists, mining geologists, diamond researchers, gemologists, diamond collectors, jewelers, and students will join the course to stay up to date with the latest research on diamonds and obtain as much basic diamond knowledge as necessary for their work.

Details of the program and the fees are given on the following page:

http://www.minsocam.org/msa/SC/Diamond.html

For registration, and to receive a zoom link from Ann Benbow (MSA), please go to:

https://msa.minsocam.org/shortcourses.html

We hope that you will be able to join us. Please also pass on these details to colleagues and students who may be interested in joining.

All the best,

Karen Smit
