We are looking for a postdoctoral researcher with a strong knowledge in
materials characterization. Extensive (practical) experience in TEM
characterization is essential.
Title: /Characterization of transformations induced by ultrafast laser
irradiations confined in a nanoscale volume./
Keywords: Transmission Electron Microscopy, Material characterization,
Microstructural transformations under shock, Mechanical properties,
Micromechanical testing, Mineralogy.
Environment:
The work will be located in Saint-Etienne at the LGF laboratory of Mines
Saint-Etienne (https://www.mines-stetienne.fr/lgf/), and at the LGL-TPE
of Jean Monnet University
(https://www.univ-st-etienne.fr/fr/lgl-tpe.html). They will be
supervised by Anne-Magali Seydoux-Guillaume (LGL-TPE, transmission
electron microscopy), Guillaume Kermouche (LGF, micromechanical testing)
and Sergio Sao-Joao (LGF, microscopy and FIB machining).
Hiring date: 1st semester 2023
